On August 29, last Saturday of summer (at least for us living on the north hemisphere) and under the full moon, a White Night was organized in the historic centre of Preveza in western Greece. Inspired by the European Fashion Nights Out, the local shops opened at 20:00 and remained opened until dawn with big offers for their customers.
There was live music, tango and zumba dancers and a clown to entertain the kids.
The shop owners offered a variety of traditional pies and sweets.
The historic centre was full of people and we were also there! I think the photos speak for themselves!!!
The event was a success, as everybody said and I would like to congratulate the organizers for the initiative. I wish that this White Night is the first of many to come in the following years!!!
